BELIEVE that the world is on your side, that’s what someone once said to me.
AT the time I was feeling down and fed up and had no clue what he meant. I was tired and frustrated and it took me a good while to work out exactly what it meant.
WELL, after a few years of stewing about it I finally got it. The ability to trust in who you are, in what you do, think and say. Being able to believe in your self 100% is totally freeing. Not in an arrogant or pushy kind of way – Although sometimes others perceive it that way.
THE joy is in the simplicity. Taking each part of your life, or problem at face value and finding a solution. but if you genuinely believe in who you are – others will naturally seek you out, especially if they need your help, or your ideas. And, if in the end you can share wisdom without losing who you are, you have the perfect equation for a happy and healthy future.
PEOPLE generally want others to be a success or to be liked, very few go out of their way to make life difficult, although I will tell you that that happens too. Once when I was setting up I had an enquiry. It turns out to be from one of my competitor’s in this field. I was bombarded with a lot if questions designed to make me feel bad and unnerve me, and actually it really upset me. Then after a few days of real annoyance, I saw it for what it was. Purely a jealous competitor who tried to make me feel insecure. Now these knock-backs drive me forwards. I know how these people work but actually that’s OK. Life is negative and hard for them, but I don't need and won't have that in my life. For me, my journey is to learn and grow, and I hope I always will. This is about my own learning, my journey to help others and my ability to. But my advise is to take on board the same.
TO believe in who you are and what you can do is an amazing gift and a talent to recognise in others
NO-ONE expects you to be perfect they just need you to be the best of who you can be. Taking the pressure off yourself is actually freeing. You are free to breath and travel in the direction you want too. To change your journey, and as I have said before, to step off the yellow brick road.
DOROTHY'S best adventures happened when she stepped of the yellow brick road, its where she found the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion. So just this once, believe in yourself enough to step of the yellow brick road and see what you can find.
